Minneapolis-based band The Hillcats formed in 1995 and were nominated for Best New Band by the Minnesota Music Academy in 1996. Featuring four members with diverse musical interests and talents, The Hillcats’ music has been described as funky, rootsy rock with three-part vocal harmonies and infectious pop melodies.
