Briand’s jazz guitar playing will remind you of the great Wes Montgomery – smooth, warm, innovative – appealing to both jazz aficionados and anyone who loves good guitar. Briand studied rock and jazz guitar in the 1970s in Minneapolis and then in Boston, and played in bands and taught guitar in Minneapolis for many years. He moved to the North Shore in 2000 and has continued to perform and compose.
